FAQs

Who is eligible for your programs?

Our resources are available to any child, age birth to 21, in custody of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and living within Oklahoma, Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Lincoln, Logan or Pottowatomie counties.

What is the Resource Center?

The Citizens Caring for Children Resource Center provides clothing and other necessities exclusively for children in foster care. The Resource Center provides NEW clothing, books and a duffel bag filled with toiletries four times a year, free of charge to children in foster care, and is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment only.

How can I help?

Individual and group volunteers are always needed at the Resource Center to sort clothes, stock the Resource Center and help foster families and children shop. You can also get involved by hosting a drive, becoming a mentor or by making a donation. To schedule a time to volunteer please call 405.753.4099  or email Toni Lee to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
